The limestone cliffs drew us out of the Caribbean Sea and into the Rio Dulce. As Canadians, we fell in love with the surroundings, the people and the culture. The Rio Dulce also represented the start of our dream of living in a tropical wonderland. We found the Rio Dulce (Sweet River) to be a perfect combination of lush jungles, beautiful sailing waters, tropical fruits & agriculture, wildlife and Mayan culture. We know travelers and adventurers will love it too.
Our small marina consists of four slips. These slips include include water, access to the pool, showers and bathrooms. Electricity is charged extra. The Boatique Marina & Hotel was built with the primary goal of connecting the third & the first world considering the synergy of blending and learning from each other’s cultures, customs & craftsmanship. The magical limestone cliffs that paved the passage, linking the “World” with the Rio represents to us at the Boatique Marina the beautiful passage exchanged when cultures come together and exist in mutual unity, love, support & growth.
